Fukuchiyama

Fukuchiyama (fOOkOOchē'yämä) [key], city (1990 pop. 66,506), Kyoto prefecture, W central Honshu, Japan, on the Yura River. Now an important railway junction and an agricultural market, it was a major castle town during the Edo era.
