Georg Jensen silversmith

Jensen is largely responsible for the revival of artistry in Danish silversmithing, opening his own smithy in Copenhagen (1904). His business expanded throughout Europe on the strong popularity of his modern designs and his high-quality steel cutlery. Died: 10/2/1935
