Pee-Wee Herman

Reubens launched his career while performing with an improvisational comedy troupe where he introduced the zany man-child character Pee-Wee Herman. The reaction Pee-Wee received inspired Reubens to write and perform in Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (1985). Reubens then signed with CBS to create the children's' show, Pee-Wee's Playhouse (1986). Reubens' film credits include Batman Returns (1992), The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), Buddy (1997), and Mystery Men (1999).
