Frances Foster

An actress with the Negro Ensemble Company from 1967, she starred in plays throughout the world, winning an Obie Award in 1985. She also appeared as Vera on the soap opera The Guiding Light (1985–92), and acted a number of minor parts in feature films, including Malcolm X (1992), Crooklyn (1994), Clockers (1995), and The Juror (1996).
