Frank Robinson

won MVP in NL (1961) and AL (1966); Triple Crown winner and World Series MVP in 1966 with Baltimore; 5th on all-time home run list with 586; 1st black manager in major leagues with Cleveland in 1975; also managed in SF, Baltimore and Montreal; served as the league’s VP of on-field operations (2000-01).
