Lawrence Taylor

All-America at North Carolina (1980); only defensive player in NFL history to be consensus Player of Year (1986); led NY Giants to Super Bowl titles in 1986 and '90 seasons; played in 10 Pro Bowls (1981-90); retired after 1993 season with 132¹/2 sacks and has had several drug-related arrests since; inducted into Hall of Fame in 1999.
