Gene Upshaw

2-time All-AFL and 3-time All-NFL selection with Oakland; helped lead Raiders to 2 Super Bowl titles in 1976 and '80 seasons; executive director of NFL Players Assn. since 1983; voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1987; agreed to application of salary cap in 1994.
