Bob Dylan (Robert Allen Zimmerman)singer, songwriter Born: 5/24/1941 Birthplace: Duluth, Minnesota Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist known for his angry folkrock protest songs and his harsh delivery. Dylan is one of the seminal figures of modern music and a pioneer in folk-rock and country-rock. His recordings include “The Times They Are a-Changin'” (1964), “Like a Rolling Stone” (1965), “Knockin' on Heaven's Door” (1973), Blood on the Tracks (1975), and Time out of Mind (1997).
