Michael J. Fox actorBorn: 6/9/1961 Birthplace: Edmonton, Canada Emmy Award-winning television and film actor who played the conservative teenager of hippie parents on Family Ties (1982–89). His films include the three Back to the Future movies (1985, 1989, 1990), The American President (1995), and he was the voice of the title character in Stuart Little (1999). He returned to television in Spin City (1996–2000). In 1998 he revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991.
