Modern dancer and choreographer known for his unique, stylish dances, which appeal to dance aficionados and mainstream audiences alike. Morris's dances include Dido and Aeneas (1989) and The Office (1995). He formed the Mark Morris Dance Group in 1980, which was the resident dance company of Brussels's Theatre Royal de la Monnaie (1988–91).
