John Elway Born: June 28, 1960 Football QB
All-American at Stanford; #1 overall pick in the famous quarterback draft of 1983; known for his last-minute, game-winning scoring drives; led Broncos to 3 Super Bowl losses before back-to-back wins in Super Bowl XXXII and XXXIII; 1987 NFL MVP; 4-time Pro Bowler; one of only two quarterbacks (Marino) to throw for over 50,000 yards. He was elected into the Hall of Fame in 2004.
