Matt Damon

A Harvard University dropout, Damon struggled for years as a screenwriter and actor before becoming Hollywood's boy wonder as the star and co-writer of Good Will Hunting, for which he and longtime friend Ben Affleck won a screenwriting Oscar. In addition to starring in Good Will Hunting (1997), he and Ben Affleck won an Oscar for its screenplay. His other films include School Ties (1992), John Grisham's The Rainmaker (1997), Rounders (1998), Saving Private Ryan (1998), The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), All the Pretty Horses (2000) and The Legend of Bagger Vance (2000).
