Jack Lord

Lord is best known for his role as detective Steve McGarrett in the TV series Hawaii Five-O (1968–80). He also directed several episodes of the show, which still has an active following. Before his television career, Lord appeared in Broadway productions, including Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1955). He was also an accomplished artist with paintings in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
