Lena Olin actressBorn: 3/22/1955 Birthplace: Stockholm, Sweden Olin won the New York Film Critics Award and received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film based on Isaac Bashevis Singer's Enemies: A Love Story (1989). Her first trip to the big screen was with fellow Swede Ingmar Bergman in his film, Face to Face (1976), and she continued working with him in Fanny and Alexander (1982), and After the Rehearsal (1984). She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her work in The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988), and went on to appear in Night Falls on Manhattan (1997), Polish Wedding (1998) and Chocolat (2000).
