Jean-Jacques Beineix

A multitalented figure in contemporary French cinema, he made some of the most influential and popular French films of the 1980s, including the stylish thriller Diva (1981), which was his directorial debut. His other films include The Moon in the Gutter (1983), Betty Blue (37°2 le Matin) (1986), and Roselyne and the Lions (1989).
