Originally a musician, he entered radio acting in 1933 and later gained fame as the voice of hundreds of popular and beloved animated cartoon characters, including Bugs Bunny, Woody Woodpecker, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety Pie, Sylvester, and others. He also provided voices in the feature films Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (1988) and Jetsons: The Movie (1990). Died: 7/10/1989
