Hugh Grant

Handsome British leading man whose career took off like a rocket to only come crashing back down in a tawdry little scandal. Grant was one of Hollywood's hottest properties after quiet roles as Chopin in Impromptu (1991) opposite Judy Davis, and his more popular role in Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994), but invited all manner of scorn for his arrest for procuring sex from a prostitute. Grant's longtime girlfriend, model Elizabeth Hurley, seemed to weather the storm better than Hugh did, though he has since turned in credible performances in Nine Months (1995), Extreme Measures (1996), and Notting Hill (1999).
