James Coburn

Birthplace: Laurel, Nebraska

Academy Award-winning actor best known for his distinctive deep voice and playing tough guys and villains in numerous westerns and action films. He appeared in The Magnificent Seven (1960), Charade (1963), The Great Escape (1963), Our Man Flint (1966), Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid (1973), Cross of Iron (1977), and Affliction (1998), for which he own the Best Supporting Actor Oscar. He has also made numerous TV guest appearances on such shows as Perry Mason (1961), The Twilight Zone (1963), Picket Fences 1995), and Profiler (1997).
