Dylan McDermott

Film and television actor known for his many second-string roles and for his sometime success playing the romantic foil to any number of leading ladies. A talented actor, his film debut in Hamburger Hill (1987) led many to believe that he was on the verge of stardom. Somehow, it has never happened, and he has appeared in various other films, such as Steel Magnolias (1989), Hardware (1990), Where Sleeping Dogs Lie (1992), In the Line of Fire (1993), The Cowboy Way (1994), Home for the Holidays (1995), 'Til There Was You (1997). His television work includes a starring role in the Emmy Award-winning series, The Practice (1997– ).
