Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician who is for known mixing dance club beats with heavy metal tones. Raised by his grandparents, Reznor learned to play piano and several other instruments as a child. After graduating from college he formed the band Nine Inch Nails. Lead by Reznor, the band won Grammys for best metal performance for “Wish” (1992) and for “Happiness in Slavery” (1996). The band's albums include Pretty Hate Machine (1989) and The Downward Spiral (1994).
