Portly comedic actor who has appeared in a number of Mel Brooks' movies, including Blazing Saddles (1974), Silent Movie (1976), History of the World Part 1 (1981), Spaceballs (1987), and Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993). He has also appeared frequently with actor Burt Reynolds, in The End (1978), Smokey and the Bandit (1980), and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982).
