Sinbad

Achieving finalist status as a comedian on Star Search was the first step in show business for this successful star of TV and film. Sinbad appeared on The Redd Foxx Show (1986) and A Different World (1987–91) before working as creator, actor, and executive producer of The Sinbad Show (1993–94) on Fox TV. He hosted the series Vibe (1997–98) and has produced a number of TV specials. His film appearances include Necessary Roughness (1991), Coneheads (1993), Houseguest (1994), and Jingle All the Way (1996).
