Gene Siskel

Siskel was hired by the Chicago Tribune in 1968 and soon became the paper's film critic, a role he filled for 19 years, eventually becoming a syndicated columnist. He wrote a column for TV Guide and in 1990 became film critic for CBS This Morning. But he's most well-known as part of the popular duo Siskel & Ebert (with Roger Ebert), who cohosted the shows At the Movies (1982–86, PBS) and Siskel & Ebert (1986–99, syndicated).
