LOVE, William Franklin, a Representative from Mississippi; born near Liberty, Amite County, Miss., March 29, 1850; attended the common schools and the University of Mississippi at Oxford; engaged in agricultural pursuits; member of the State house of representatives 1878-1882 and 1884-1888; served in the State senate 1889-1896; delegate to the State constitutional convention in 1890; elected as a Democrat to the Fifty-fifth Congress and served from March 4, 1897, until his death in Gloster, Amite County, Miss., October 16, 1898; interment in Gloster Cemetery.
