Anna Sophia Rix, 10, is big on vegetables! She grew a 26-pound cabbage, a 4-pound radish and prize-winning peapods. Her veggies won two blue ribbons at the Alaska State Fair.
What's Anna's secret? She waters her garden with a "tea" made with her pet rabbits' droppings. Alaska's long summer days help too. The sun shines as much as 19 hours a day! Anna enjoys the yummy results: "When I want a snack, I grab some peapods." Hmm ... that could be a very big snack!
