Thousands of junior Spice Girls tried out in New York City last week for a commercial for Toymax's new Spice Girls toys. Only four were spicy enough: Dina Moakley, 9, as Baby; Carissa Farina, 10, as Sporty; Sarah Back, 10, as Posh; and Nirine Brown, 12, as Scary. Dancing their Spice Girls moves over and over was tough. "My feet were killing me," Sarah said. She took off her high heels when the competition--and her toes--got stiff. The TV ad will air this month.
