Talk about puppy love! Nicki the dog just couldn't bear to see her owner Cory Stroud, 6, go off to kindergarten. "She seemed extremely worried," Cory's mom Lisa told TFK. Nicki would even try to board the school bus with Cory! Every day for three weeks, the dog broke free from her leash and ran seven miles, mostly through fields, to Cory's school in Tennessee. Nicki snoozed and waited outside Cory's classroom until school was over, then she ran home. Her dogged loyalty made national news!
