WORLD REPORT EDITION WHO'S NEWS
Spotlight: Rosie O'Donnell

What makes comedian-actor and talk-show host Rosie O'Donnell crack up? Reading kids' jokes on her TV show! Once she started the daily joke break, thousands of puns from kids poured in. Her new book, Kids Are Punny (Warner Books), gathers 300 of these jokes. (Sample: What kind of car does Luke Skywalker drive? Answer: A Toy Yoda.) All the profits will be donated to O'Donnell's For All Kids Foundation, which gives money to children's charities.

"Everybody loves jokes," the star told TFK. "So I just thought, let's put them in a book and send all the proceeds to charity." Kids will be able to laugh along with O'Donnell when she is host of the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on April 19.
