The generals strenuously disagreed about the casus belli—

a.) some insisted on ground troops, others said an overwhelming display of air force was the way to go.

b.) a number thought berets and tassles added class to a soldier's uniform, others insisted that down-and-dirty fatigues were more appropriate.

c.) a variety of reasons for war, including the existence of weapons of mass destruction, the necessity of humanitarian relief, and making the world over in one's own image were put forth.
