Alyssa Milano is best known for her role as Phoebe in the series Charmed (1998-2006). Milano has been a familiar face on TV since co-starring in the hit sitcom Who's the Boss?, where she spent her childhood (1984-92) as tomboy Samantha Micelli, the TV daugher to star Tony Danza. In the early '90s she appeared in low-budget films and TV movies, and in 1997 she joined the cast of the primetime soap opera Melrose Place, where she spent two seasons as bratty babe Jennifer Mancini. Charmed, a series about three sisters with supernatural powers, debuted in 1998 and ran for eight seasons. Alyssa Milano stayed on throughout the show's many changes, including the departure of original star Shannen Doherty and the addition of newcomer Rose McGowan. Since then, she has appeared in several television roles, most notably as a regular in My Name is Earl (2007-08) and in Mistresses (2013-14). Milano also sings (she released several records in the early 1990s), does charity work and appears in TV commercials (1-800-Collect and Veet). Her feature film credits include Fear (1996, with Mark Wahlberg), Hugo Pool (1997, with Patrick Dempsey) and Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003).

Alyssa Milano is credited with kicking off the #MeToo movement in 2017, to encourage victims of sexual assault to speak up about their experiences… Milano married Hollywood talent agent David Bugliari in 2009. Their son, Milo Thomas Bugliari, was born on 31 August 2011… A longtime baseball fan, Milano wrote a blog about her favorite team, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and is behind the Touch line of ballpark apparel, which she launched in 2007. She also covered the 2007 baseball playoffs for cable TV as part of TBS: Hot Corner (also seen on MLB.com).
