Cooch Behar

Cooch Behar ko͞och bĭhärˈ [key], former princely state, now part of West Bengal state, E India. It lies in a low, poorly drained plain. Rice, tobacco, corn, oilseeds, and jute are grown. Big-game hunting is practiced. The chief town, Koch Bihar or Cooch Behar, is a district administrative center with road and rail connections and an airport.
