Paxoí päksē´ [key] or Paxos păk´səs [key], island (1991 pop. 2,175), c.7 sq mi (18 sq km), NW Greece, in the Ionian Sea one of the Ionian Islands. Olive oil, citrus fruits, and almonds are produced. Tourism is an important industry.
