Gandía

Gandía gändēˈä [key], town, Valencia prov., E Spain, in a fertile garden region near the Mediterranean. Large quantities of oranges are exported through its port, El Grao de Gandía. Several members of a branch of the Borja, or Borgia, family were dukes of Gandía. The palace of the Borgias now houses a Jesuit college.
