Sabadell säbəᵺĕlˈlyə [key], city (1990 pop. 192,142), Barcelona prov., NE Spain, in Catalonia. Since medieval times, it has been a leading textile center. Chemicals, engines, electrical equipment, and fertilizers are also made.
