Pukaskwa National Park

Pukaskwa National Park pŭk´ăskwə [key], c.725 sq mi (1,890 sq km), central Ont., Canada, near Marathon est. 1971. Stretching for c.50 mi (80 km) along the north shore of Lake Superior between the Pukaskwa and White rivers, the park has a rugged terrain with many lakes, rivers, and waterfalls. Tip Top Mt. (2,120 ft/650 m high), one of the highest points in Ontario, is in the park.
