Wauwatosa

Wauwatosa wôwətōˈsə [key], city (1990 pop. 49,366), Milwaukee co., SE Wis., a suburb of Milwaukee, on the Menominee River; settled 1835, inc. as a city 1897. Electroplating and the manufacture of transportation equipment and printing adhesives are among its industries. Wisconsin Lutheran College is there.
