Marsha Mason

A stage actress of the 1960s and 1970s, Mason's fame as a film star soared when she received four Oscar nominations in a brief span of years (for Cinderella Liberty, 1973; The Goodbye Girl, 1977; Chapter Two, 1979; and Only When I Laugh, 1981). Her husband at the time, playwright Neil Simon, wrote the latter three. Mason has also appeared on television in Frasier and in the TV movie Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows, and in the movies Stella (1990), I Love Trouble (1994). and Bride and Prejudice (2004).
