Gene Hackman

actor
Born: 1/30/1930
Birthplace: San Bernardino, California

Academy Award-winning film actor known for his gritty performances in dramatic roles. His films include The French Connection (1971), Mississippi Burning (1988) and Unforgiven (1992). In 1999 Hackman and Jack Lenihan joined forces to write the sea adventure novel, Wake of the Perdido Star.
