An early member of the Brat Pack., Ringwald epitomized the typical teenager in films such as Sixteen Candles (1984), The Breakfast Club (1985), and Pretty In Pink (1986). Ringwald started performing when she was just six, singing with her father's jazz band and recording the album I Wanna Be Loved By You (1973), and appearing in the west coast production of Annie (1978–79). After a short stint on The Facts of Life (1982), she landed roles in feature films. Her other credits include Office Killer (1997), Teaching Mrs. Tingle (1999), and the TV series Townies (1996). In 2003 and 2004 she appeared in several New York and London stage productions.
