Elementary School, 1943-1951; graduated, Evans City High School, 1955; B.S., University of Cincinnati, 1960; M.B.A., University of Pittsburgh, 1964; pursued professional career in mechanical and industrial engineering, steel mill turn foreman; served in the United States Air Force Reserve, 1961-1968; unsuccessful candidate in 1972 for election to the Ninety-third Congress; elected as a Republican to the Ninety-fourth and to the Ninety-fifth Congresses (January 3, 1975-January 3, 1979); was not a candidate for reelection in 1978 to the Ninety-sixth Congress; resumed work in the steel industry; consultant in technical services and project management for an engineering search firm; is a resident of Butler, Pa.
