Koch; reelected to the seven succeeding Congresses and served (February 14, 1978-January 3, 1993); unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Third Congress in 1992; unsuccessful candidate for the Republican nomination for Governor of New York in 1994; died on October 14, 2002, in New York, N.Y.
