GLEN, Henry, a Representative from New York; born in Schenectady, N.Y., July 13, 1739; appointed clerk of Schenectady County February 27, 1767, and served until March 11, 1809; served as a deputy quartermaster general in the Revolutionary War; Member of the First, Second, and Third Provincial Congresses 1774-1776; served as a member of the State assembly in 1786 and 1787; elected as a Pro-Administration candidate to the Third Congress and reelected as a Federalist to the three succeeding Congresses (March 4, 1793-March 3, 1801); member of the State assembly in 1810; died in Schenectady, N.Y., on January 6, 1814.
