KLUCZYNSKI, John Carl, a Representative from Illinois; born in Chicago, Ill., February 15, 1896; attended the public and parochial schools; during the First World War served overseas as a corporal with the Eighth Field Artillery in 1918 and 1919; engaged in the catering business in Chicago, Ill., since 1920; member of the State house of representatives 1933-1948; elected to the State senate in 1948 and served until December 1949, having become a candidate for Congress; elected as a Democrat to the Eighty-second Congress; reelected to the twelve succeeding Congresses, and served from January 3, 1951, until his death January 26, 1975; in Chicago, Ill.; interment in Resurrection Mausoleum, Justice, Ill.
