LINEHAN, Neil Joseph, a Representative from Illinois; born in Chicago, Ill., September 23, 1895; attended the public schools; was graduated from John L. Marsh School in 1913; engaged in electrical business since 1919; during the First World War served in France with the Three Hundred and Fortieth Infantry, Eighty-fifth Division, United States Army; elected as a Democrat to the Eighty-first Congress (January 3, 1949-January 3, 1951); unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1950 to the Eighty-second Congress and for election in 1952 to the Eighty-third Congress; Director of Price Stabilization, Chicago district, 1951; resumed electrical engineering business; died in Chicago, Ill., August 23, 1967; interment in St. Mary Cemetery.
