KLINK, Ronald, a Representative from Pennsylvania; born in Canton, Stark County, Ohio, September 23, 1951; graduated Meyersdale High School, 1969; television news reporter, Altoona, Pa., and Pittsburgh, Pa., 1978-1993; member, Youngwood, Pa., volunteer fire department; board member, Forbes Road Vocational Technical School, Monroeville, Pa.; partner, Dagwood’s Restaurant; elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Third and to the three succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1993-January 3, 2001); was not a candidate for reelection to the United States House of Representatives, but was an unsuccessful candidate for election to the United States Senate in 2000.
