MOTTL, Ronald Milton, a Representative from Ohio; born in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, February 6, 1934; graduated from Parma Schaaf High School, Parma, Ohio, 1952; B.S., University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind., 1956; LL.B., University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind., 1957; admitted to the Ohio bar in 1957; lawyer, private practice; United States Army, 1957; served as city councilman, Parma, Ohio, 1960-1966; member of the Ohio state house of representatives, 1967-1969; member of the Ohio state senate, 1969-1975; elected as a Democrat to the Ninety-fourth and to the three succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1975-January 3, 1983); unsuccessful candidate for renomination to the Ninety-eighth Congress in 1982; resumed the practice of law; unsuccessful candidate for election to the Ohio senate in 1984; elected to the Parma, Ohio, school board, 1985-1986; member of the Ohio state house of representatives, 1987-1997; is a resident of Parma, Ohio.
