CULLEN, Thomas Henry, a Representative from New York; born in Brooklyn, N.Y., March 29, 1868; attended the local parochial schools, and was graduated from St. Francis College, Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1880; became engaged in the marine insurance and shipping business; member of the Senate assembly 1896-1898; served in the State senate 1899-1918; delegate to the Democratic National Conventions from 1912 through 1932; elected as a Democrat to the Sixty-sixth and to the twelve succeeding Congresses and served from March 4, 1919, until his death in Washington, D.C., on March 1, 1944; interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, N.Y.
