Today's Weather Fact...

On this date in 1953, the deadliest tornado in Michigan history struck Flint, Michigan, and surrounding areas. The massive tornado was half a mile in diameter. It destroyed 200 homes on Flint's Coldwater Road alone and killed 116 people. Entire families were killed in Flint's Beecher district, the hardest hit part of town.
