The Question:
I need to know if the World Series trophy has a name attached to it (like the Lombardi Trophy in football).
The Answer:
The World Series trophy is called the Commissioner's Trophy. The 2005 version featured 30 gold-plated flags, one for each major league team. Created by Tiffany and Co., the trophy is 24 inches tall (not including the base), and 11 inches around. It's made of sterling silver, and weighs about 30 pounds.
