The Question:
How does Kansas rank as far as miles of road per state?
The Answer:
According to national transportation statistics (Table HM-10), as of 2004, Texas had 303,176 miles of public roads, more than any other U.S. state. California (169,793) came in a not-so-close second, Illinois (138,626) was third, and Kansas (135,017) was fourth.
